True hospitality is when the hotel chain cares for its guest’s wellbeing. Wyndham Hotels and & Resorts is one of the leading hotel franchising companies in the world. They have launched the ‘Count on Us’ initiative during the COVID19 crisis.
There are approximately 6000 properties of this hotel chain in the United States. With the ‘Count on Us’ initiative, the hotel is set to welcome back the travelers. The aim is to build confidence and make the guests believe that safe traveling is possible even amidst the crisis.
The ‘Count On Us’ initiative is a collaboration of trade organizations such as the American Hotel & Lodging Association, Wyndham franchises, members of Franchise Advisory Councils, and chief industry partners.
The new initiative focuses on adopting new health measures being laid down by the CDC. The focus is to enhance the safety and health procedures at all of the prime properties. Wyndham is also joining hands with Ecolab to get EPA-approved disinfectants.
Geoff Ballotti, the CEO of Wyndham Hotels & Resort, says that they want travelers to count on them. The guest’s health and safety are foremost for the hotel chain. Approximately 90% of their hotels are functional, and they are catering to government, emergency, and health officials. The officials who belong to the healthcare and governmental organizations are the true heroes of the nation!
Ballotti mentioned that the world would become a better place again. Soon the travelers will be able to cross borders and see their family and friends.
In the Count On Us initiative, the following measures will be taken:
- Ecolab’s disinfectant will be thoroughly used to clean the public spaces and guest rooms. There are 2K workers from EcoLab who are assisting the hotels.
- There will be virtual training for all staff members. All the necessary steps will be taken to train the officials at the hotel.
- When guests start coming to the hotel, they will be given a sanitizing wipe and a key card to check into the hotel. Every room will have hand sanitizers, and social distancing norms will be valid.
In a nutshell, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is all set to welcome back the guests who want to experience pure luxury. The chain is doing everything possible to make its hotels a safe place to be. When will the world go back to its original form? Only time can tell, but Wyndham Hotels & Resorts are making sure that every hotel staff member gets his/her mask, and hand sanitizers are accessible in every corner of the hotel.
